To follow Jesus Christ means also that we follow Him in greeting, meeting, eating and drinking with others. We see Him at the Wedding Feast of Cana, making fresh wine, eating with Mary, Martha and Lazarus, inviting Zaccheus to come down from the sycamore tree so that He could dine with him that night. Jesus spent a lot of His time here on earth visiting with other people, in diverse places, such as at wells drawing water, and in large (the feeding of the 5,000) and small groups (Mary, Martha and Lazarus).
Fellowship is an important part of a Christian Community, and it is therefore of great importance to the community at Saint James in the Hills.
The Fellowship Committee is in charge of organizing our Church’s social functions along with maintaining the necessary supplies needed to make this succeed (this group makes things happen at Church). If you like to entertain, decorate & organize functions, St James is always looking for helping hands.
If you would like to be a part of the Fellowship group, please speak to Liz Miller, Junior Warden.
